IGN 4-31-04 Issue 2 August 1988 Specification for unplasticised pvc pressure pipes for cold potable water
Introduction
The Standards Board has decided that any document published before 1990 should be archived.
This specification was the forerunner of BS 3505:1986 which (in August 1988) contained equivalent technical requirements.
On publication (August 1988) this IGN said: ‘The specification number 4-31-04 will remain on file but BS 3505, Specification for unplasticised polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U) pressure pipes for cold potable water, is now recognised as the lead document and purchase of Kitemarked product conforming to BS 3505 is recommended.’
